Swedish weekend

Paul and I decided that in lieu of gifts to each other we'd take a little mini trip to Sweden. I think karma decided to jump in our bags and tag along because we bought our train tickets then were kicked off the train. Sounds bad, I know, but they then shuttled us in busses across the ├śresund completely free and thus got a refund on our train tickets. Brilliant! Thank you bad track service. Then, we arrived to this winter wonderland, not to say that we don't have this beauty in Copenhagen, or for that matter, all across Europe and the East Coast, or so I hear. Thanks to those delightful groupon type deals we had a delicious dinner and stay and then got aboard a free bus once again back to Copenhagen. AND did I mention that food is cheaper in Sweden than Denmark and we scored some super cheap After Eights. Oh, it's the small things in life that make this girl happy. The trip could only have been better had I not forgotten my camera (lame!). Photo from here.

That's what I hate about not being in Europe. There you are so close to so many countries which are all so different.
