thatched and colored


Hello charm. This is Denmark's most well-preserved village called Sønderho with 70 out of 300 homes perfectly preserved. Some are vacation homes and now the city is fighting to make the village liveable the entire year long instead of being turned into a museum. I'll volunteer to live there. From here.

Nice. It can be a challenge to live in old houses. I've had several friends that have done so in England. You need permission to make certain changes and the plumbing is often problematic.

Ah, these photos are so beautiful! I love all the different regional styles of Denmark. We stayed in a brick farmhouse in the west and then a yellow farmhouse in the east when we were working our way through the countryside.
