living in a dreamland

Hej! Did you have a lovely weekend? I sure hope so. Sounds nerdy, but I got to clean up around the house and quite enjoyed myself. Coincidentally two of our rooms (aka: about half the apt) don't have light because our light bulbs all ran out at about the same time. Odd? I think so. 

These collages by Beth Hoeckel transport me to another world. There's something very Scandinavian about the figures...perhaps it's the colorful 50s/60s vibe. This girl living in flowers below is a scene both out of my dreams and reality. Dreams with the flowers. Reality with the dark, cloudy sky (Oh, Denmark, why?!)

 This scene above feels Norwegian with the high mountains surrounding the fjords.

This one, I just had to...I've always wanted to know what I'd look like as a brunette. I think I'll stick with blonde.
