DIY wooden bridal spoons

Beware, wood items! I will find you and you will end up painted! Muhaha. (Exhibit A, B, now C). How cute would these be to personalize and give to a bridal couple OR give out as favors at a wedding? I did these for Brooklyn Bride

Brittany, can you please paint faces on everything I own?

i used to get spanked with spoons like that. that last thing i would want is a face painted on one.

I adore your ideas, Brittany! I was inspired by this one and made a sweet little present to give to a bride. Just take a bank note and form a skirt out of it. Ready :-) See here if you like http://www.lovebirdwedding.com/2012/05/geschenk-zur-hochzeit.html

Just curious can you still use the spoons after you painting them or do you have to put a finish on them?

rThose are impressive. The best ones are the ones where the shape of the hand or the skin texture works for the animal (like the elephant and giraffe). The painting of a cat on the hand seems a bit pointless.
