Falling Garden

Gerda Stein and Jörg Lenzlinger created Falling Garden for the 2003 Venice Biennale at the San Staë church along the Grand Canal. When you lie on the bench and look up, they described the flowers as "thinking for you." I'd love to walk around in a world with flowers under my feet and flowers above my head.

I think I love it and hate it at once! I keep wanting them to drop - that suspension makes me a little nervous!

I already saw the Falling Garden pictures in your Pinterest feed and was astonished! It's really something I could look at for ages.

Oh my word-I think this is incredibly beautiful. It must have been so surreal to lie underneath. Such a wonderful idea-thanks for sharing Miss B! Have a great weekend :-) Caroline x

Did they use fresh flowers? I really love that Falling Garden because of the unique design. Maybe I should try creating my mini garden design using synthetic lawn Perth.
