Are these little cherubs not the cutest lil' things you ever did see? I've been wanting to try a pumpkin-as-a-vase for quite some time and thought it'd be so nice to do something like this for a wedding vs. traditional autumn colors. Don't get me wrong, you KNOW I love warm colors, but these are too perfect, right? Just cut out the top like regular jack-o-lanterns leaving all the seeds and stuff inside so you can directly stick the flowers into them. Add in a bit of water and voila! For more instructions check out Brooklyn Bride, though these pictures I added in some more flowers to give it more of a romantic look.

These are so cute! Love the little white flowers in little white pumpkins! Would be perfect for a thanksgiving table.
the pumpkins are awesome, but i'm a bit disturbed by the title of this post.
@maybejessmaybe...ohmyword, you're so right. I totally wasn't thinking when I created the title. Thanks for pointing that out!
These are soooo cute! :-)caroline x
Pumpkins as vases- very cute idea. Jess
Someone suggested coating the cut part of the pumpkin with Vaseline to keep it from spoiling as fast.
Good idea sugarcreek. I would hate to redecorate my rental residential properties every time the vases rot away.
This is just what I've been looking for. The wife would be happy if I show this to her. She had been looking all over for this on the web.
