This is the simplest DIY of all time. Seriously. I had been looking for some cutesy polka dot wrapping paper for a couple of photoshoots and couldn't find it so I made it myself. I used this same technique on black paper too for a photoshoot for my paper flowers (see below). This DIY is featured on Brooklyn Bride today. The full instructions are there, but photos are the best description, non?
One little tip. White stamp pads are kinda hard to find in stores. Order online! Here's my recommendation over at Amazon. And you can find the paper flowers in my The House That Lars Built Etsy shop.

Really really good & cute idea :).
So perfect! And girl, I have GOT to learn all about making your magical paper flowers.
i like this! i would do it with white paint!
such a beautiful option for wrapping, thanks for sharing!
Gorgeous! I have never seen kraft paper at the dollar store, so I will definitely be on the lookout for it now. I wanted to wrap presents in this for Christmas, but I never got around to it. It would be perfect for Valentine's Day, too.
beautiful craft idea!!!
@lindsay, try Dollar Tree. I'm pretty sure that's where I got it.
Love this idea!
The Amazon link doesn't seem to work - can you let me know what the correct link is please?
Thanks :)
Even though it's easy, I'm glad you shared your idea, Brittany! Very pretty packages, as are your photographs and paper flowers.
the Amazon link works. Give it a try!

good idea!
I did a DIY just like this in December but used embossing powder instead. I did the same polka dots for my business cards with metallic embossing powder. It's so fun isn't it?
